EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The Museum's workshops for children of 6-13 years old continue to take place every August, in the context of each exhibition.

The two-hour workshops include both a tour around the galleries and a session which - through using special subject matters, techniques and materials - aims to initiate children to the essence of each artist's work, while at the same time triggering off the expression of the young visitors' own thoughts and images.

Acknowledging the importance of this experience, the Museum organised an exhibition in its Library with works created by
the children who attended the workshops of the years 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. Similar events will continue to be organised in the future.
